Cogmed Working Memory Training

Unlocking Attention, Memory, and Focus for Lasting Success

At The Brain Hub, we’re proud to bring Cogmed Working Memory Training—an evidence-based program proven to strengthen attention, working memory, and processing speed—to students and adults in our community.

As a certified Cogmed provider, Dr. Sheryl Coglaiti, PhD, Cognitive & Executive Functioning Specialist, brings over 35 years of expertise in educational therapy and executive functioning coaching to guide clients through this transformative program.

What is Cogmed?

Cogmed is a computer-based cognitive training program designed to improve working memory—the brain’s ability to hold, process, and use information in real time. Strong working memory is critical for attention, problem-solving, organization, and learning.

Research shows that students who complete Cogmed training often see improvements in:

  • Staying focused in class and during homework

  • Remembering instructions and multi-step directions

  • Reducing careless mistakes on assignments and tests

  • Better planning and organization skills

  • Increased self-confidence and independence

How It Works

  • 6–13 weeks of training delivered through structured online exercises

  • Customized levels that adapt to each client’s progress

  • Regular coaching sessions with Dr. Coglaiti for support, feedback, and accountability

  • Data-driven progress tracking so families can see measurable results

Who Benefits Most?

Cogmed is especially effective for students and adults who struggle with:

  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD)

  • Difficulty focusing or following through on tasks

  • Forgetfulness or working memory challenges

  • Academic underperformance despite effort

  • Executive functioning difficulties

Why Choose The Brain Hub?

While Cogmed itself is powerful, the Brain Hub difference lies in Dr. C’s expertise. She integrates Cogmed results into a broader understanding of how each client learns and functions, ensuring strategies extend beyond the program and into daily life, home, and school.
