Craig Pierce, LCSW
Meet Craig Pierce, Jr., the founder and driving force behind Pierce Counseling & Mental Health Collective. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and entrepreneur, Craig brings together clinical expertise, real-world experience, and a genuine passion for helping people find peace and balance in their lives.
Craig’s path to counseling wasn’t traditional—he began his career in commercial construction management, overseeing multimillion-dollar projects along the Gulf Coast. In 2009, driven by a calling to serve others more directly, he left that career behind to pursue a Master of Social Work at LSU. Over the years, Craig has worked in hospice and bereavement care, community mental health, addiction recovery, and clinical leadership roles, giving him a wide lens on what people need most in their moments of struggle.
In creating Pierce Counseling, Craig envisioned more than a solo practice—he built a collective of therapists and wellness providers committed to offering compassionate, innovative care. His philosophy is simple but powerful: Peace Happens Inside Out. He helps clients understand their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors so they can live more fully in the present while learning from the past and preparing for the future.
Whether you’re coming in as an individual, a couple, or a family, Craig offers a space where honesty and insight come first. He enjoys working with teens ages 15 and up and adults and he's especially passionate about helping couples. Craig specialty involves helping couples become more aligned, reconnect and rebuild. Craig is known for keeping it real—no quick fixes, or fluffy advice—just meaningful, practical support and real conversations that move people toward growth, healing and peace.
